Project Overview

In September 2023, Decom Engineering was engaged by Technip for a comprehensive cutting operation in the Indian Ocean targeting flexi risers, mooring chains, and Koscons at 500-850m depth. The C1-24 was crane deployed and powered via WROV. Mooring chain cuts were completed in just 10 minutes (vs. 40-60 minutes with a super grinder), while Koscon cuts took 40-50 minutes (vs. 90 minutes for DWS methods).
