We specialise in solving complex technical challenges through our proprietary mechanical cutting range, including the patented C1 Chopsaw and TRACS systems.

Our tools are engineered to perform precision cold-cuts in the most demanding offshore environments, allowing us to cut where others fail on everything from multi-string conductors and pipelines to flexible risers and mooring chains.

By reducing the total time required for each cut, we enable our clients to significantly lower their project costs and minimise expensive offshore vessel requirements. Supported by a global logistical network, we provide a single point of accountability for integrated subsea cutting services across six continents.

Calum Dey

Head of Engineering

Calum brings over 14 years of oil and gas industry experience to his role as Head of Engineering, specialising in the detailed design, management, and engineering of bespoke client projects and product line technology. His comprehensive background spans decommissioning tooling, production, ROV tooling, and renewables. Calum takes a leading role in both onshore and offshore projects, spearheading the development of innovative tooling solutions and serving as offshore team lead on global campaigns, including the standout successful C1-32" Chopsaw execution aboard the Pioneering Spirit at Brent Charlie.

Nick McNally

Managing Director

Nick spearheads Decom Engineering's commercial growth, leading our dedicated small team. With an extensive background in successfully guiding companies across various industries to successful fruition, he plays a crucial role in supporting our Business Development team. Nick focuses on securing robust commercial relationships and consistently contributing to expanding Decom Engineering's impressive and growing track record of project delivery and client satisfaction.
