Project Overview
The Troll B project for Equinor in Norway utilised the C1-24 Chopsaw as a contingency cutting tool for the potential recovery of a subsea structure. Mobilised for a 21-day window, the tool performed 4 test cuts demonstrating a 6-minute cut time on 457.2mm structural members. Clean cuts allowed proper water drainage, and the dynamic design permitted cutting at various angles for maximum flexibility.
