Project Overview
Decom Engineering was engaged by McDermott to deliver a critical subsea cutting operation as part of Woodside's Stybarrow decommissioning. The C1-10T Tracksaw was deployed via ROV basket and operated by ROV to perform precise linear cuts on 25mm thick steel plate at 850m depth. The Tracksaw achieved cutting speeds approximately 10x faster than a traditional super grinder.
