Project Overview

The Agbami project centered on highly complex subsea cutting requirements for a 16" flexible flowline. The main challenge was executing a precise cut at an unusual 45-degree angle directly behind an end fitting. The same blade proved capable of cutting a large bend restrictor clamp (OD 499mm), underscoring the system's versatility beyond standard applications.

Key Highlights

  • Precise 45-degree angle cut behind end fitting
  • Cut through bend restrictor clamp (OD 499mm) with same blade
  • Deployed via custom 45-degree crane sling
