This saw boasts key features such as DNV certification for the highest safety and performance standards, rapid customisation of clamps to adapt to various project requirements, and hot stab integration for seamless and efficient operation. Its safe and robust landing frame ensures stability and security during operations, while blade innovation with segmented tip technology reduces deck handling and enhances cutting efficiency.

Powered from topside using a Hydraulic Power Unit (HPU), Reeler, Hot Stabs, and Control Panel, it’s ready to tackle the toughest subsea cuts. The C1-24 saw, operated from an ROV, was also utilised for specific tasks, showcasing versatility in various operations.
On its first deployment, the C1-46 exceeded all expectations, completing 79 cuts with a remarkable 100% success rate. Averaging 15 cuts per blade tip before requiring a change, it significantly reduced the need for surface recovery. Traditional methods would have necessitated longer cut times and frequent blade replacements, but the C1-46 averaged cuts in just 47 minutes, with some completed in as little as 20 minutes.
Our innovative approach also extended to reducing seabed dredging time. By modifying the saw’s clamps, we cut dredge time from 3.5 hours to just 30 minutes, achieving substantial time savings and operational efficiency.
