Decom Engineering provided a comprehensive solution for the cutting operation of windfarm electric cables in Asia. The project involved cutting 290mm OD Windfarm Electrical Cables at an average water depth of approximately 70m. The cutting operation was conducted using a crane deployment method, with a Hydraulic Power Unit (HPU) and Reeler facilitating the process. The average cut time per cable was 6 minutes, and each blade used for cutting was capable of delivering up to 20 cuts.
