Decom has developed innovative new technologies & products required to replace the historic & traditional pipeline cutting & pipe coating removal processes during the decommissioning of old oil & gas plants and pipelines.
Our core products currently include, our Pipe Coating Removal Machine (CRM) and our range of versatile pipeline cutting Chopsaws and accessories.
The CRM specialises in FBE removal, cleaning the 3-layer plastic coatings from steel oil and gas pipes in order to unlock the valuable steel underneath for re-use, offering a significantly lower cost and carbon footprint compared with new steel.
The C1 Chopsaw covers 2 to 42 inch OD in pipe cutting and can be deployed and operated within the harshest working conditions, including subsea. It is a versatile single-blade cutter with the ability to clamp and cut a wide range of sizes and types with the same saw including materials such as inconel, duplex, mooring chain, umbilicals and more.
Based in Cookstown, Northern Ireland, Decom Engineering was founded by Sean Conway alongside his father and brother and has a management team and board in place of passionate, friendly leaders who are entrepreneurial by nature with a mix of experience and youth. We now supply the UK, EU, US, Asia and beyond.
